Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television roles. Anna's debut role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. She also guest-starred on the show. appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was another film she starred in. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play podcast known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal story as well as the stress on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
